Trinity Falls - Trinity Falls Welcomes 400th Family

January 16, 2017

Last year came to a close with a new milestone for Trinity Falls — the community’s 400th family!

First-time homebuyers Zach and Shanae McCoy were looking for a family-friendly community to raise their 1-year-old son, Miles. They had searched for several months before visiting Trinity Falls. Looking through a book in the Highland Homes model had them sold.

“We saw a book that featured all of the events from the previous year and we immediately fell in love with the Trinity Falls lifestyle,” Shanae said. “I’m a teacher, so I really wanted to have something I could do with my son in the summers.”

The McCoys selected a Highland Homes’ design to build from the ground up and closed Dec. 15, moving from Rockwall.

“We are so excited to have found Trinity Falls,” Shanae said. “My commute into Frisco has been cut to only 20 minutes, and that’s even with dropping my son off at day care. Zach’s drive is about 45 minutes with traffic to his job in Rockwall, but he says Trinity Falls is worth it.”

The McCoys were the 254th family to close on a home in Trinity Falls in 2016 and the 400th since the community’s inception. Seven builders offer designs priced from the $300,000s in the 1,700-acre master-planned development: Ashton Woods Homes, Beazer Homes, Emerald Homes, Gehan Homes, Highland Homes, Meritage Homes and Plantation Homes. Residents enjoy a range of amenities, including multiple parks and a playground, trails and a clubhouse with gathering space, a resort pool, kids splash zone and a pavilion anchored by a fireplace.

Future amenities will include more than 450 acres of open space with 20 miles of hiking-and-biking trails, an amphitheater overlooking the community lake, fishing piers and a disc golf course.
