McKinney North also nabbed the No. 106 spot on the list of Best College Prep Public High Schools.

Strength in academics starts with a strong school district and McKinney ISD ranks among the top 50. The district nabbed the No. 30 spot (out of 986 districts) on the list of Best Public School Districts. The ranking was based on excellent state-mandated test scores, college readiness, graduation rates, SAT/ACT scores and teacher quality. McKinney ISD also scored in the top 100 for Most Diverse Public School District.
