Harvest Green: 500 Homes and Growing

Harvest Green - Harvest Green: 500 Homes and Growing

July 06, 2017

Crops aren’t the only things sprouting at Harvest Green — so are rooftops. In June we sold our 500th home!

That’s 500 families who will be experiencing our laid-back, healthy and fun-filled lifestyle. We aren’t stopping there, of course. In July, we will release 183 more homesites, making it more than 250 lots we’ve delivered to builders this year. And it’s all because of the amazing year so far in sales. We are tracking 38 percent ahead of last year’s home sales, and builders have started more than 150 homes.

Current Harvest Green builders Lennar Homes, Newmark Homes and D.R. Horton will build on the new 123 50-foot properties. Highland Homes and David Weekly Homes will build on the 60 65-foot homesites being released.

Builders Meritage Homes, Plantation Homes, Perry Homes, Westin Homes, Darling Homes and Trendmaker Homes will continue their successful building programs in current neighborhoods.

New homes and new neighborhoods mean new parks as well. We’ve already completed three new pocket parks with shady gazebos and will open two more later this year. Soccer fields and a dog park, to be located behind the Village Farm, are in the planning stages and will be ready for play next year.

All of this is in addition to the opening of our new amenity center featuring a resort-style pool, event lawn, clubhouse and lake. James C. Neil Elementary — the third of our on-site schools — will open in August.

There are new businesses growing up around our community, as well. The Shops at Harvest Green, to be located at the intersection of the Grand Parkway and Harlem Road, is set to begin construction this year. A Timewise Gas Station also is slated to begin construction soon.
