Harmony - Fine Arts Education Day Introduces Students to Orchestra, Band Music

Have an aspiring musician in the family?  They’ll certainly find a home in Harmony’s public schools where opportunities abound in a variety of music instruction.

Recently, students from Harmony’s outstanding Broadway Elementary joined those from other Conroe ISD schools for an introduction to orchestral and band music, all part of the District’s Fine Arts Education Day.

The event allowed Conroe ISD fourth-grade students to experience orchestra and band music before they select a fifth-grade elective. Some fifth and sixth graders also attended to observe where their studies could take them if they continue their pursuit of music in junior high.
