Trinity Falls - Have a Blast at McKinney's Red White and BOOM!

June 28, 2017

Treat your family to an all-day, all-American Fourth of July celebration — complete with fireworks — at McKinney’s annual Red, White and BOOM extravaganza 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. Tuesday, July 4.

The popular hometown event kicks off at 10 a.m. with a patriotic parade winding through one of the oldest downtown squares in Texas. A Yankee Doodle Block Party at 11 a.m. will offer free activities while families explore the many dining and shopping options that downtown McKinney has to offer. Then get your motors running because the 10th annual Classic Car, Truck and Cycle show gets underway at 1 p.m.

The star-spangled action moves to the McKinney Soccer Complex at Craig Ranch, 6375 Collin McKinney Pkwy, for food, fun and fireworks beginning at 5:30 p.m.

Arrive early to stake out the perfect position for picnicking and enjoying the evening’s patriotic pyrotechnic display. Food will be available for purchase, but coolers are welcome as long as you don’t bring alcoholic beverages or plan to grill.

At 8 p.m. Dallas band Prophets and Outlaws will take the stage, entertaining the crowd with their unique “Texas Soul” sound. At 9:45 p.m., all eyes will turn upward as we finish off the celebration with a bang, filling the sky with blooms of red, white and blue.

All Red, White and BOOM! activities are free and open to the public.

Trinity Falls is located minutes from downtown McKinney and all of the patriotic fun. Homes in the community are priced from the $300,000s.
