Trinity Falls - Embrace the Grape at McKinney Wine & Music Festival Oct. 21

Embrace the grape and “wine” down for the weekend during the McKinney Wine & Music Festival noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 21.

The inaugural fest will take place at Adriatica, 6625 Mediterranean Drive in McKinney. Twelve of the best North Texas wineries will offer up a selection of Chardonnays, Cabernets and other fruits of the vine for sampling, sipping and enjoying alongside delectable food and music by talented local musicians.

A culinary experience tent will feature demonstrations from local experts and the students from the ProStart Program, while more than 40 vendors will be on hand for your shopping pleasure. A grape stomp and other family-friendly activities round out an event that is sure to become a McKinney favorite.

Trinity Falls is in part sponsoring the children’s area of the festival, which is free and open to the public with complimentary valet parking. Wine tasting is available for $1, or purchase your favorite vintage for $5 to $7 per glass. Take home a souvenir Wine & Music Festival wine glass for $5.
