Warm Your Heart — And Everything Else

Grand Central Park - Warm Your Heart — And Everything Else

January 29, 2018

The upcoming Inspire Film Festival features stories that warm the heart. However, as much of the festival is outdoors in February (and brrrr it’s been cold), we want to keep the rest of you warm.

Opening night on Feb. 15 will be dedicated to short films and will be free to the public. The screening will take place outdoors at the Westin Hotel on the Waterway — which is where we come in.

As a proud sponsor of the event, we will give the first 100 visitors to our nine, beautiful model homes a commemorative, Grand Central Park film festival blanket. The giveaway continues from Feb. 9-18.

The blankets will come in handy for the rest of the festival, as some of the films will be screened on a giant pop-up theater at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion. Other venues include The Woodlands United Methodist Church and several screens at Cinemark on Market Street.

Now in its second year, the five-day cinematic event takes place Feb. 15-19. Twenty full-length feature films and 10 short films chosen to inspire and entertain audiences will be screened. Each screening will be followed by a panel discussion with the filmmaker and/or subject of the film.

Weekend passes can be purchased online and are $50 for students and $125 for adults. Click here for more information and a film schedule.

Discover another sort of inspiration at Grand Central Park where nature plays a starring role and you can spend your days hiking our trails, picnicking by our lakes and exploring our forested spaces. It’s the perfect setting for your life story.
