Give Back, Build Family Hope

Cross Creek Ranch - Give Back, Build Family Hope

November 04, 2021

Many families in Fort Bend County struggle. They need financial support, food and resources to improve their lives. They need compassion and a helping hand. They need Family Hope.

Founded in 2015, Family Hope’s mission is to transform hurting people into healthy families. It is the largest non-profit agency exclusively serving northern Fort Bend County’s residents with medical assistance, food, rent and utility assistance, job searches, furniture and disaster relief.

Among the many programs Family Hope offers is a food fair where families in need can pick up boxes of food as well as free flu and Covid-19 shots. The non-profit also offers parenting classes and emergency financial assistance.

Last year, the non-profit saw a 730 percent increase in the number of people needing assistance. Family Hope answered by sharing food with more than 32,000 people. More than 200 parents took parenting and financial courses. More than 1,100 children received new shoes and backpacks.

But there is still so much more to do. If you are in the market for a new home, you can help. The Cross Creek Ranch Give Back, Build Hope campaign will help six designated charities throughout the months of November and December. For each home sold in our community we will make a monetary donation to Family Hope, Rainbow Room, Texana Center, Abigail’s Place, Brookwood Community and Fort Bend Paws.

Even if you aren’t planning to move, you can provide much-needed items to any of these charities. Simply purchase an item on the organization’s wish list and drop it off at the Cross Creek Ranch Welcome Center, 6450 Cross Creek Bend Lane, during its designated month.

In November, you can donate to Family Hope, Rainbow Room and Texana Center. In December, you can help Abigail’s Place, Brookwood Community and Fort Bend Paws.

Family Hope is currently asking for donations of children’s books, Christmas gifts and children’s blankets. Books should be written at the pre-Kindergarten level and toys geared to ages 1 to 12.

As an added bonus, if you purchase your new home in November or December you will be entered into a drawing for $3,000.

Help us give back and build better futures for those in need!
