Johnson Development Invests in Katy ISD’s Brightest Students: Grange Scholarship Program

Grange - Johnson Development Invests in Katy ISD’s Brightest Students: Grange Scholarship Program

November 06, 2026

The Grange by Johnson Development Corp. College Scholarship Program awards $5,000 each to two eligible Katy Independent School District (Katy ISD) high school seniors. By easing some of the financial pressures of college, the program helps students focus on what truly matters: their education and future ambitions.

Johnson Development, the developer of Grange, created the program to support local students as they take their next step toward higher education.

What Does the Grange Scholarship Cover?

Both scholarship recipients receive a one-time $5,000 scholarship that can be used for tuition, books, room and board, computers or other education-related expenses. That flexibility helps students put the funds toward the college costs they need help with most.

Who Is Eligible for the Grange Scholarship Program?

The Grange scholarship program is designed for Katy ISD high school seniors who meet these requirements:

  • Have a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Enroll in a two- to five-year institution by the following fall.
  • Be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident living in the Katy, Texas area.
  • Have not previously received the scholarship.

When Can Students Apply?

Applications open January 1 and close March 1 each year. Two scholarship recipients are announced by April 15.
