City of Magnolia officials, Magnolia Independent School District staff, local Realtors, Johnson Development employees and builder partners gathered in Kresston Tuesday for the groundbreaking of the community’s Legends Pointe amenity complex and nearby model homes. Located in along approximately 10 acres in Kresston’s Heartland District, Legends Pointe will feature four pickleball courts, a 2,000-square-foot splash pad, open event lawn, playground and the Boot House, a 3,000-square-foot welcome center designed by Tipler Design. In addition to welcome center staff, the Boot House will also have space for resident events, a kitchen and offices for the development team. The Boot House is expected to open in April 2025, with the remaining Legends Pointe amenities expected to be completed early second quarter of 2025. “Legends Pointe will reflect the vision we have for Kresston, and this initial phase of community amenities will set the tone for what’s to come in Kresston,” said Stephen Barrera, Vice President and General Manager of Kresston. “The area will be extremely versatile and is planned to accommodate all types of events and activities. It’s important to us to have amenities open about the time our first residents will be closing on their new homes.” See coverage in Community Impact for more details. |
