Kresston - Meet Constable Chris Jones

You know that guy who’s always been in your hometown, like forever, and somehow knows everyone and everything? Well, Magnolia has its very own version of that — Constable Chris Jones. And guess what? He’s the star of a new Crossroads video.  

Crossroads highlights the amazing people that make up the area surrounding Kresston, a Johnson Development community. This time, it’s a look at Constable Jones and his commitment to community policing.  

He brings nearly three decades of experience in law enforcement, a master’s degree in criminal justice management, and top-level certification as a Master Peace Officer to the job and has been serving as the elected constable of Precinct 5 since 2020. With 50 years of living in Magnolia, Constable Jones blends professional know-how with a genuine connection to the area, making him a familiar and dependable figure in the community. 

Under his leadership, Precinct 5 keeps things real by staying involved. Whether it’s hanging out at local hangouts, showing up for community get-togethers, or spending time in schools chatting with students, they’re all about making connections. The focus isn’t on handing out tickets, it’s on building relationships that matter, making them a true part of the neighborhood.
