All Ages Love Sienna Amenities

Sienna pools aren’t just for the kids (or grandkids). Adults of any age can find comfortable spots for relaxing in or out of the sun. Two pools — the Club Sienna Water Park and the Brushy Lake Pool — have lap lanes that provide an avenue for exercise that’s easy on the joints. Equally effective, water aerobics is offered during the summer.

Active adults can also delay muscle loss by using free weights or strength-training machines at Sienna’s two fitness centers. Also helpful are fitness classes aligned to the specific needs of older adults, including a 50-Plus Strength & Conditioning class, Low Impact Plus, and Chair Fit & Strong. Residents ages 50 and older can also register for a pickleball league that hits the courts Tuesday mornings. Sienna’s miles of paved and natural trails encourage adults to get in those all-important daily steps.

Sienna’s multitude of parks offer not only playgrounds to take visiting grandkids, but several parks are designed for quiet reflection and just being outdoors. Deer Valley Park provides plaza seating, art, and a lush greenscape. Pecan Grove Park features a rustic pavilion with picnic tables, an outdoor fireplace, and a lakeside trail. Break out the beads and Mardi Gras mask for a March 17 celebration at Sawmill Lake Club. Have fun cutting into the King Cake to see who finds the baby, which symbolizes luck and prosperity. It could be you — or a neighbor who has become a good friend.

Wine & Cheese Social

Guests are encouraged to bring their favorite vintage to the Sawmill Pavilion March 26 to enjoy and share with others. Sienna will provide a spread of cheeses and other goodies to accompany the wine.

Butterfly Garden Tea Party

A whimsical afternoon is planned April 9 at the Sawmill Pavilion where guests will enjoy classic tea sandwiches, decadent pastries, and delightful desserts paired with spice tea from Four Friends Tea Room.

Tea, Treats & Trivia

Teams will work together to answer trivia questions about classic TV shows, music, fashion, and everyday life from decades gone by on April 27 at Club Sienna.
