Jubilee - Joy Fest Returns to Jubilee Bigger and Better Than Ever March 28March 20, 2026
More joy, more positivity and more activities are coming to Jubilee when Joy Fest returns noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, March 28, at 26130 Happy Home Street in Hockley. The free event will be bigger than ever with added activities such as a 30-foot climbing wall and remote-controlled boat demos heading up the annual festival. "The Jubilee lifestyle is rooted in positivity," said Haley Peck, Vice President of Marketing for Johnson Development. "Joy Fest is our opportunity to showcase that and encourage people to take time to live in the moment and just have fun. This year, the festival has expanded to include more free activities and model homes, and we will have a trackless train available to transport families to all the activities being offered." In addition to the climbing wall and boat demos, families can enjoy air brush tattoos, bounce houses, balloon artists, mini golf, yard games, face painting, rock mining and a toddler zone. Numerous stations will entertain guests of all ages, including ones dedicated to giant bubbles, flower crowns and bracelets. A live DJ will spin tunes and young attendees can challenge themselves on inflatables such as a 60-foot obstacle course, rock climbing slide and sports games. Hungry guests can purchase street eats at several food trucks or slake their thirsts at a smoothie truck. There will also be cotton candy and a soda cart. "It's going to be an amazing day," Peck said. "In addition to the new activities, our 14 model homes will be open — including four luxury models. Each home showcases the Jubilee standard wellness package which provides families with superior water, air and safety features."
