Kresston Announces Songbird Hollow ParkMarch 25, 2026
Kresston is adding to its growing list of amenities with Songbird Hollow Park, a 1-acre amenity inspired by the Texas Hill Country and a historic music venue. Taking a page from the Luckenbach, Texas dance hall and music venue, the park will feature a picnic and barbecue area, fire pit plaza, entertainment pavilion, barrel seating, bench swings, horseshoe court and events lawn. Construction is slated to begin in late spring with an opening tentatively planned for the fall. “Songbird Hollow Park is the first of many district parks planned for Kresston," said Stephen Barrera, Vice President and General Manager of Kresston. "Each park will reflect the district it’s located in and be a callback to the beloved historic sites that make up our great state. We want them to be places residents will enjoy connecting to the outdoors, family and neighbors." The park will be located in the Stableton District where Highland Homes, Perry Homes, Westin Homes and Village Builders offer homes built on 55- and 65-foot homesites. Kresston residents already enjoy numerous amenities, including Legends Pointe, an amenity complex encompassing Horseshoe Heights playground, Frontier Bluffs Splashpad, Legends Pickleball Court and the Boot House Welcome Center. In the works is Liberty Junction, , a 20+-acre amenity district inspired by the town of Gruene, Texas. Liberty Junction is envisioned to include an aquatic center, live music pavilion, multi-use indoor facilities, a variety of recreational amenities and designated camping sites. The 1,465-acre Kresston is located near Magnolia with frontage along State Highway 249 and FM 1486. |
