And this year, it’s not only residents hopping on board this springtime fervor; several events are open to the public. Here are some April activities you don’t want to miss: Things are Hopping at Grand Central Park“B-4” your April calendar fills up, you’ll want to set aside a day or two to visit Grand Central Park in Conroe during its Spring Into Bingo Home Tour. Throughout April, prospective homebuyers can pick up a Bingo card at The Finding Place, 750 Grand Central Parkway in Conroe, or any of the community's five model homes and then mark off spots on their card to play. If you achieve Bingo and bring the card back to The Finding Place, you’ll be entered into a drawing for a $1,000 Kroger gift card. Saturday, April 4, will be an excellent day to visit — especially if you like to shop local artisans. The Bunny Hop Artisan Market will be from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., offering not only locally crafted gift items and food, but also photos with the Easter Bunny and kids Easter baskets (while supplies last). Return 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 10, for Lakeside Live, an open-air concert at The Lake House, 1039 Lake House Drive. Food trucks will be on hand with tasty street eats, and fun giveaways will happen throughout the evening. ‘Somebunny’ Will Love April Happenings in KresstonHop on over to The Boot House, 26850 Trailblazers Run in Kresston April 2-4 for the Bunny Bait Pop-Up. This legendary welcome center will have a mix of “bunny bait” ingredients for you to create your own enticing snack. Hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Homegrown goodness will be available 9 a.m. to noon Saturday, April 18, during the Farm & Foundry market at Legends Point, 26850 Trailblazers Run. Browse a curated selection of crafts, art, home décor, and specialty foods. An ‘Aah-some’ April at JubileeRight in line with its commitment to wellness, Jubilee in Hockley has two April events that will leave participants refreshed and recharged. Instructor Jessica Garcia of Chandra Yoga will lead Yoga on the Lawn at 9 a.m. Sunday, April 4 at 26134 Happy Home Street. The session will include pranayama, asanas, and a sound bath meditation focused on strengthening, balancing, stretching, and mindfulness. Waves of sound will wash over Jubilee once a month, leading to a calmer mind and healthier body at Jubilee 9 a.m. Saturday, April 18, during a beginner-friendly Soundbath and Breathwork Class at the Joy Hub Recreation Center, 16818 Cheerful Trail. Attendees will learn how to shift their perspective toward positivity with breathwork and soothing sounds. Classes are free and open to the public, but participants must bring their own mats and water bottles. RSVPis required. Flowers, Fun, and Bargains at GrangePlan two visits to Grange in Katy this month, starting 1-4 p.m. Sunday, April 12 for the Grange Bluebonnet Festival & Home Tour. A performance by Casey Chestnutt will be a highlight of the event, which also features activities for children and adults, including a wildflower garden bar, Katy Rock Shop, flower crown bar and a press station. Other activities include lawn games, glitter face paint, a giant Lite Brite, a seed station, a stem bar, chalk art, a pollinator exhibit and a 360 photobooth. Local vendors — including Half and Half Bakery, Shop Sassi Cat, Elderberry Chick and Her & Reese — will have handcrafted items and baked goods for sale. Guests can satisfy hunger pangs at the Food Village with Southern Sliders Co and Boom Boom Tacos and quench their thirst at the floral-infused lemonade stand or Good Hart Coffee cart. The following Saturday, bargain hunters and treasure seekers will enjoy the community’s first-ever garage sale 7 a.m. to noon. Sales will take place at individual homes throughout the community with digital maps posted to the Grange Facebook page. Running for a Good Cause and Rosé in SiennaRunners can toast their speed and success during the Run for the Rosé 5K 8-11 a.m. Saturday, April 11, at the Sawmill Lake Pavilion, 10333 Mount Logan in Sienna. The chip-timed race again benefits Child Advocates of Fort Bend, a local non-profit serving child victims of sexual abuse, physical abuse, and neglect. After the race, runners and members of the “No Way 5K Party Patrol” can enjoy a finish line celebration, corn hole, massage chairs, vendor booths, hula hooping, food trucks and more.
