Cross Creek West - Fulshear Town Square Plans More Dining, Shopping & Entertainment near Cross Creek West

April 21, 2026

Big news for current and future residents of Cross Creek West! Two massive projects that would bring more dining, shopping and entertainment options for Cross Creek West residents—as well as a hotel and conference center—are proposed in Fulshear near Main Street and FM 1093, just south of our community.

Development company Town Square Development Advisors is behind the two projects, Fulshear Town Square and Fulshear Village. Timelines for construction of the projects are not yet available.

Fulshear Town Square

Joe Veytia with Town Square Development Advisors presented rough plans to Fulshear City Council members in March, noting the concept for Fulshear Town Square is similar to that of Market Street in The Woodlands, an open-air, mixed-use hub of shopping, dining, and lifestyle destinations.

Veytia said Fulshear Town Square, proposed on 18.8 acres at the southeast corner of FM 1093 and Main Street is an investment of roughly $296 million in land, building, and construction costs alone.

Concept plans show:

- a main square down the center of the project with retail and restaurant options

- more buildings on both sides featuring additional retail and movie theater space

- medical and general office space above retail space that’s on the ground level

- parking garages located nearby

Restaurant space would also border FM 1093 on the north end of the proposed site. Veytia said the idea is that the project would include about a dozen different new-to-the-area restaurant concepts.

“If there’s one thing we’ve heard here in Fulshear, it’s everybody wants more restaurants,” he said.

At the south end of the Fulshear Town Square, the concept plan includes:

- a 180-room hotel managed by the Valencia Hotel Group

- a parking garage

- retail space

- an approximately 46,000-square-foot conference center

- an approximately 76,000-square-foot indoor sports complex

Fulshear Village

Fulshear Village is proposed between Wallis and Main streets with the idea to bring even more restaurant, retail, and office space to Fulshear with four levels of apartments overhead. The project also proposes space for a new City Hall building and relocating Francis Smart Park to be more accessible to the public from Main and Wallis streets.
