Johnson Development Donates $15,000 for Make-A-Wish Through Tour of Trees

January 16, 2026

Johnson Development recently celebrated the success of its first north Houston Tour of Trees campaign, which raised $15,000 for Make-A-Wish Texas Gulf Coast and Louisiana through the combined efforts of seven Johnson Development communities. The campaign helped make a dream trip to Orlando possible for 13-year-old Samuel and his family.

To mark the occasion, Johnson Development hosted a special wish celebration for Samuel and his family following their recent trip. The gathering brought together Johnson Development team members and representatives from Make-A-Wish to honor the impact of the campaign and the memories created through Samuel’s wish experience.

During the holiday season, Tour of Trees invited visitors into participating model homes to experience elaborately decorated Christmas trees while supporting a meaningful cause. Through this shared effort, the campaign reached its donation goal, demonstrating the power of community participation across the Johnson Development portfolio.

“We wanted to celebrate the holiday season in a meaningful way, combining festive traditions with an opportunity to bring joy to an incredible young man and his family,” said Haley Peck, Vice President of Marketing for Johnson Development.

Samuel’s wish trip included visits to Super Nintendo World at EPIC Universe and Disney World. After returning home, he and his family joined Johnson Development and Make-A-Wish representatives for a celebration where they shared photos from their trip and were recognized with a commemorative check and birthday gifts.

Participating communities included Jubilee in Hockley, Grange in Katy, Grand Central Park in Conroe, Everly in Hockley, Kresston and Briarley in Montgomery, and Amira in Tomball. Together, they turned a holiday promotion into a meaningful regional effort that made a lasting impact for one deserving family.
