Cross Creek West to Add More Parks this Summer

Cross Creek West to Add More Parks this Summer

May 20, 2026

Cross Creek West is expanding its park system this summer with 2 acres of fun for family members of all ages — including dogs.

The community will open four new parks, adding to an amenity list that already includes The Waterhole amenity complex, trails and a half-acre park and playground.

“We gave careful consideration to what amenities we introduce next,” said Stephen Brovarone, General Manager of Cross Creek West. “These new parks should have something for just about everyone, whether you’re a pet parent, have a toddler at home or just excited to try your hand at pickleball.”

Designed for toddlers, Silly Goose Park will feature swings, slides, musical play features and climbing play structures that encourage exploration, movement and imagination. Parents can watch from shaded seating areas.

Sunset Park offers nearly an acre of green space with pickleball courts surrounded by sound-reducing plexiglass, a large and shaded playground and picnic tables with string lights.

The 8,000-square-foot Zoomies Dog Park will feature separate areas for small and large dogs, allowing them to safely run leash-free.

Also opening this summer is The Links, a 3,000-square-foot putting green with seven holes designed for residents to practice their short game. Lawn chairs and lawn games will be stationed within the surrounding green space.

“Cross Creek West residents have reciprocal access to amenities at our sister community of Cross Creek Ranch, but it’s also nice to have a park or playground just around the corner,” Brovarone said.

Amenities, Schools and New Homes in Cross Creek West

Opened in 2023, The Waterhole amenity center features a clubhouse, fitness center, tennis courts, lap pool and freeform pool. Young residents can roam the playground or splash on the in-the-water play structure. At Cross Creek Ranch, residents have access to four more pool complexes, dozens of parks, sports courts, disc golf and more.

Residents also enjoy access to an onsite school, Haygood Elementary, which opened last August. Slated to open onsite next year are Debbie Urbanski Junior High School and Troy Williams High School.

Cross Creek West is located on FM 359 north of downtown Fulshear. Builders offer homes priced from the $390,000s.
