Harvest Green - Spring-ing Into Fun: Harvest Green Farm Events RecapJuly 01, 2026
Spring at Harvest Green Village Farm was un-beet-able. From pawsomely adorable dog-friendly markets to flower-filled Mother's Day workshops, the farm was buzzing louder than a hive of bees in a sunflower patch. Whether you were crunching on cucumbers or cheering on Monarch caterpillars munching milkweed, there was no shortage of ways to turnip the fun. Harvest Green Farmers' Market Fun in April April at the Harvest Green Farmers' Market was simply radishing! Residents got their stroll on at ‘Spring Around the Green,’ enjoying games, giveaways, and sweet treats. With airbrush artists and photo booths, families sprouted their best poses and left with memories as fresh as our produce. For dog lovers, the ‘Dog Day at the Farmers Market’ was paws-itively tail-wagging. Local vendors brought treats and toys that had pups barking with joy, while their humans loaded up on veggies so fresh they practically jumped into the baskets. The dog park nearby kept our four-legged friends digging the vibe. Mother's Day Flower Activities at Harvest Green May was in full bloom with our Mother's Day flower activities, where residents got to flex their petal power. From crafting custom bouquets with farm-fresh blooms to showing their moms they’re the real MVPs (Most Valuable Planters), it was a root-to-vase success. Farmer Alyssa led a hands-on flower bouquet-making workshop, turning a simple seed-to-bouquet journey into a blooming good time. With expert tips and a tour of the flower patch, participants created floral works of art that could rival any Pinterest board. Spring Farm Events at Harvest Green Spring on the farm was a real peas of paradise! April kicked off with Pizza and Movie Night, where guests savored wood-fired pies topped with just-picked veggies while watching Superman on the big screen. Neill Elementary kids wrapped up their school year with a tomato taste test, proving they know their way around a vine. Meanwhile, visitors got their hands dirty (in the best way) during our seed-to-harvest experiences, exploring fresh produce and meeting the farm’s newest feathered friends —baby chicks! New Friends of the Farm Program at Harvest Green Our new Friends of the Farm Program is the cherry on top of life at Harvest Green. Think of it as the ultimate farm-to-friendship experience, where members reap a crop of exclusive perks and plant new connections. This spring, members were treated to bouquets bursting with blooms straight from the farm. And June brought a-tomato-ly amazing vibes with boxes of juicy tomatoes that made every salad, sandwich, and salsa a superstar. From private pizza nights to surprises ripe for the picking, this club turns every season into a farm-fresh adventure. June Tomato Talk and La Tomatina Padre at Harvest Green June at Harvest Green Village Farm was ripe with tomato-filled excitement! Farmer Nathan’s Tomato Talk and Tasting had folks seeding, planting, and sampling their way through the ins-and-outs of this juicy favorite. But the real showstopper was La Tomatina Padre, where kids slid into summer on a giant water slide while parents enjoyed farm-fresh bites. And yes, there were flying tomatoes! It was a splashy, squishy, and oh-so-saucy celebration that left everyone feeling vine and dandy.
