Grange Welcomes 2 New Model Homes

Builders in Grange have opened two new model homes showcasing floor plans for 40-foot homesites, a new lot size for the Katy community.

Highland Homes recently opened its second Grange model home at 436 Dove Meadow Lane. The Everleigh floor plan is one of 11 designs for 40-foot homesites the builder offers in Grange, with pricing from the $380,000s and sizes ranging from 1,500 to 2,900 square feet. The builder also offers 13 floor plans designed for 60-foot homesites in Grange.

J. Patrick Homes debuted earlier this year in Grange, also offering floor plans for 40-foot homesites. The 11 home designs are priced from the $370,000s and range from 1,300 to 2,500 square feet. The builder’s Katy model home is open at 432 Dove Meadow Lane.

“There’s a lot of momentum in Grange right now as we move into our next phases of development,” said Jacob W. Rice, Vice President and General Manager of Grange. “The introduction of new homesites, new model homes and a new builder is a precursor to what we hope to unveil later this year.”

The two new model homes are among the 10 models in the community that are part of the Perfect 10 Getaway Showcase, continuing through July. Visitors are invited to tour the model homes — each decorated with a vacation-themed display — and vote on their favorite destinations. Those visiting all 10 homes can enter to win a $5,000 travel voucher.

Model homes are open daily, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday through Saturday and noon to 5 p.m. Sunday.

Other builders in Grange — recently ranked the No. 1 Developer and the No. 3 Best Neighborhood in the Katy Area Chamber’s Best of Katy awards — include Chesmar Homes, David Weekley Homes, Drees Custom Homes, Newmark Homes, Perry Homes and Westin Homes. Pricing is from the high $300,000s.

Grange is located near Interstate 10 and the Grand Parkway in Katy. Students in Grange are zoned to Katy ISD schools, including Robertson Elementary, Katy Junior High and Katy High School. The school district has also purchased 51 acres in Grange for an onsite elementary school and a junior high school.
