Grand Central Park Welcomes New Model Homes, New ParkAugust 25, 2026
Drees Custom Homes has opened a new model home in Grand Central Park, the first of three expected new model homes as the community nears close-out, expected in less than a year. The new model home, at 334 Silver Sage Street in Conroe, showcases floor plans designed for 60-foot homesites. Perry Homes is expected to open a new model home soon at 449 Quinn River Drive for floor plans designed for 50-foot and 45-foot homesites. Westin Homes will also open a new Grand Central Park model home soon. Located at 445 Quinn River Drive, the model home will represent floor plans for 50-foot and 45-foot properties as well. “We have fewer than 150 opportunities remaining in Grand Central Park for a newly built home, so we’re excited to still offer home buyers a chance to see current home design trends showcased in brand-new model homes,” said Senior Vice President and General Manager Bob Douglas. The final new home in Grand Central Park should sell in less than a year, Douglas said. In addition to the new model homes, a new amenity will open soon in Grand Central Park — Deer Lake Park, which will feature a kayak launch and fishing pier. A refurbished pavilion and picnic areas will offer places to relax, as will a fire pit and hammock grove. Meandering pathways will offer dramatic views of the Deer Lake. The Grand Central Park commercial corridor also continues to grow. EOS Fitness opened recently at 336 Marketplace, and JETSET Pilates has signed a lease in the complex. Sam Houston State University has opened a second building for its College of Osteopathic Medicine at City Central, and Rooms To Go is scheduled to open in September. La-Z-Boy is under construction at City Central, and Ashley Furniture is expected to start construction in September. In addition to Drees Custom Homes, Perry Homes and Westin Homes, other builders offering homes in Grand Central Park include David Weekley Homes, Highland Homes and Jamestown Estate Homes. Pricing is from the $400,000s to the $1,000,000's.
