Jubilee - Kroger Marketplace to Break Ground in Jubilee

Something big — and convenient — is coming to Jubilee.

Kroger is breaking ground on its first Houston-area store in nearly a decade, and it’s going to be right here in Jubilee.

The nearly 100,000-square-foot Kroger Marketplace, on 11 acres at 26217 Betka Road in Jubilee’s commercial district, is slated to open in early 2028, bringing an expanded selection of meats, cheeses, seafood, baked goods, and other grocery items as well as a pharmacy and fuel center. It will anchor a 38-acre retail development that has space for restaurants, retailers, and other conveniences.

Kroger officially breaks ground on its new store Oct. 29. It’s the first of several Kroger stores planned for suburbs in the Houston and Dallas areas.
