Sienna Gingerbread Market Sees Record AttendanceOctober 30, 2026
More than 3,000 shoppers flocked to the Oct. 3 Gingerbread Market in Sienna, now in its 21st year, making it the busiest market on record — and offering a ton of help to people in need. Held at Sawmill Lake Club in Sienna, the market featured more than 60 local vendors spread inside and outside the complex. As in prior years, admission was one or more nonperishable food items for the Second Mile Mission pantry. Adding to the fun were holiday music, food trucks and signature drinks, available for attendees age 21 and older who brought extra food items for donation. “It was another incredible event to kick off the Fort Bend holiday shopping season,” said Morghan Powell, Marketing Director for Sienna. “Making it even more meaningful is the 2,400 pounds of canned goods and other food items we collected for Second Mile Mission Center.” Founded in 1990, Second Mile supports Fort Bend residents in need through food, spiritual care and education. It assists more than 150,000 people a year through its food program. The public will again have an opportunity to celebrate the holiday season in Sienna during this year’s CASA Christmas Home Tour Dec. 4-5. Like last year, a lavishly decorated Sienna home will be included on the tour, which benefits child advocacy. Located along Highway 6 in Missouri City, the 10,800-acre Sienna offers new homes priced from the $300,000s to the millions by 13 builders. Twenty-nine model homes are open in the community, including 19 that debuted this year. Also introduced this year was the community’s first 55+ active-adult neighborhood, Regency at Sienna.
