Riverstone - Free Fair Helps Residents '€˜WATCH' their Health

Area residents can check bone density, have their children immunized and receive child identification cards at the 7^th Annual WATCH Your Wellness Health and Fitness Fair 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at Sugar Land Town Square.

The free event is the annual start to Fort Bend ISD’s WATCH (Weight, Activity, Tobacco, Cholesterol and Hypertension) Week, a heart health awareness program that runs March 4-8.

Activities during the Saturday wellness fair include bone density, blood pressure and blood glucose screenings; student immunizations; cooking demonstrations; child identification cards; fire safety presentations; and giveaways.  Children can even bring their favorite stuffed animals to have them checked at Kelsey-Seybold’s Teddy Bear Clinic. Radio Disney and Fort Bend student groups will provide the day’s entertainment.
