Woodforest - Woodforest Hosts Community Garage Sale this Weekend

Woodforest’s fall community garage sale will be one for the record books, with more than 60 households selling an array of clothing, toys, household items and — very possibly — a hidden treasure or two.

The sale will be held 7 a.m. to 1 p.m. Friday and Saturday at individual homes. Bargain hunters are encouraged to stop by the Woodforest Homefinder Lodge at 101 Elk Trace Parkway for a map of participating households.

Woodforest’s semi-annual community garage sale is a popular event, particularly with new residents who find they may have moved too many boxes from their previous home, says Faith Bailes, Woodforest’s Community Relations Director.
