Sugar Land Performing Arts Center Progresses

Riverstone - Sugar Land Performing Arts Center Progresses

December 31, 2013

The Sugar Land performing arts center is closer to becoming reality after the Sugar Land City Council recently hired Linbeck Group LLC as the construction-manager-at-risk for the $83 million facility.

According to an article in Community Impact Newspaper, Linbeck Group will handle pre-construction services, including general coordination of the project.

The performing arts center will be located on approximately 40 acres southeast of Highway 59 and University Boulevard. The venue will have a flexible seating capacity of 6,500 and will host an array of live performances. Construction is estimated to start this summer and should take about 24 months to complete.
