Riverstone - Kidventure's Camp Riverstone Continues through Aug. 15

Riverstone is full of happy campers, as Kidventure is continuing its weekly day camp through Aug. 15.

Designed for children ages 6 to 12, Kidventure’s Camp Riverstone promises a range of activities designed to keep children’s minds and bodies engaged. Campers enjoy athletics, arts and crafts, science projects, team-building activities, field trips and more. Base camp is The Club at Riverstone, a new recreation facility opened in the community this summer.

“Anchoring our new recreation complex is an 8,000-square-foot clubhouse perfectly suited to host events such as this,” said Trey Reichert, vice president and general manager of Riverstone.

Hours for Camp Riverstone are 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, with extended hours available 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. Cost is $200 per week and registration is available at www.kidventure.com or by phoning 713-960-8989.

Kidventure began providing summer camps in Houston in 1994 and has expanded to include programs in Dallas and Austin. The program boasts low counselor-camper ratios, character-building curriculums and safe environments.
