Riverstone - Kidventure to Set Sail in Riverstone This Summer

Area youngsters can embark on a Kidventure summer cruise during its “Anchors Aweigh” day camp program to be held in Riverstone June 8 through Aug. 14.

Parents can choose from a variety of cruise-themed weeklong camps such as Campers of the Caribbean and Destination Asia designed to spark the imagination with an itinerary of fun, learning and activity. Campers will enjoy sports, camp games, skits, field trips and activities to build leadership skills and character.

The camps will be held at The Club at Riverstone and are open for children ages 6 to 12. Cost for the basic camp, slated for 9 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. is $220 a week. Pre-camp and post-camp times of 7-8:45 a.m. and 3:45-6 p.m., respectively, are available for an additional $30 per week each.

Kidventure began providing summer camps in Houston in 1994 and has expanded to include programs in Dallas and Austin. The program boasts low counselor-camper ratios, character-building curriculums and safe environments.
