Riverstone - Newmark Homes Makes Houston's Fast 100 List for Second Year

Riverstone builder Newmark Homes has for a second consecutive year been named one of the Houston area’s fastest-growing private companies, landing a spot on the Houston Business Journal’s Fast 100 list.

Newmark Homes placed No. 83 on the annual tally, ranked by two-year revenue growth. The builder reported 2014 revenue at $180.72 million, up 61.5 percent from $111.91 revenue in 2012. When considering actual revenue, Newmark Homes earned a No. 4 spot on the Fast 100 list, the highest ranking of any builder among the Fast 100.

“We have experienced significant growth for the past several years, averaging a 33 percent increase year-over-year,” said Mike Moody, chief executive officer of Newmark Homes. “We have concentrated our efforts on providing an exceptional home in desirable Houston communities rather than a scattershot approach and that strategy has worked well.”

To qualify for the Fast 100 list, companies must be headquartered in the Houston area, have been in business a minimum of five years and generated at least $1 million in revenue during the previous fiscal year.
