Viridian - Help Students Go Back to School During Viridian Supply Drive

We hate to say it, but the new school year is just around the corner — which means shopping for pens, pencils, notebooks and other supplies. When you do, we ask that you add some extra items to your cart and donate them during our school supply drive.

We have teamed up with Mission Arlington to make sure all Arlington ISD students have the tools needed for a productive and successful school year. From now through Aug. 4, you can drop off school supplies at the Lake Club, 1200 Viridian Park Lane, or any of our beautiful model homes.

Mission Arlington, a faith-based organization created to assist people with their physical, intellectual, emotional and spiritual needs, will distribute them to the more than 10,000 students whose families can’t afford to provide even the most basic school supplies.

Help support Arlington’s schools, teachers and — most importantly — its students with donations of these most requested items:

• Notebook paper (wide ruled)
• Spiral notebooks (70 count)
• 3-prong pocket folders (red, green, yellow, blue only)
• Composition notebooks (Black Marble 100 count)
• #2 Pencils
• Pink erasers
• Glue (4 oz. or sticks)
• Color (map) pencils
• Crayons
• Washable markers
• Rulers / Protractors
• Scissors (blunt & sharp point)
• Manila folders (9x12 & 12x18)
• Construction paper (9x12 & 12x18 assorted & 9x12 white)
• Red pens
• Black pens
• Backpacks
• Zipper pencil bags
