Trinity Falls - Getting Ready For Fall: Color Trends For Your New McKinney Home

August 15, 2014

Although this McKinney weather may not be the best indicator, fall is right around the corner! Before the leaves turn to red, yellow, and brown, we wanted to update you on this fall season's color trends for your home! Here's what the experts are claiming the "it" colors to be:

Lobster Red: Red is a color often associated with the fall season, but this hue has the volume turned way up! It's unique and stimulating while still holding true to its classic value. Great ways to incorporate this color in your home are with lamps, end tables, or art pieces. As you can see from our Beazer Homes model home, even throwing a lobster red blanket over the couch and having a central red vase can add a great pop to any room!

Peacock Blue: Turquoise hues have been huge this summer, and trend forecasters are anticipating that this will transition into a fall color as well. Rich peacock blue colors are what you want to look for when decorating.  This color goes great when combined with gold and gray colors. Our Ashton Woods model home has incorporated peacock blue in the upstairs TV area.

Black and White: If there is one color combination that we feel safe saying won't go out of style, its black and white. We had to include this on our list because you can't go wrong with these colors! Adding a fun wallpaper or accessory will add flair to your look.  This is the look we went for in our Ashton Woods model media room.

Sepia: Two words come to mind when we think of sepia-instant warmth.  Just like using a sepia filter in photography, using these coppery colors add a neutral, comfortable look to any room. Our Beazer Homes model showcases this color trend in this bedroom.
