Trinity Falls - Celebrating St. Patrick's Day Around McKinneyMarch 10, 2015
St. Paddy's Day is right around the corner, so we've rounded up some great events for you and your family to attend! McKinney St. Patrick's Festival McKinney Square is just a hop, skip and a jump away from Trinity Falls! Head over this Saturday March 14th for a family friendly celebration of Celtic tradition! There will be music, dancing, food, and beer! They have also organized a lot of fun activities for the kids, including a photo scavenger hunt, a costume contest, and face painters. The event will be held from 12pm-5pm. We hope to see you there! The Pub McKinney McKinney's very own Irish pub will be serving up delicious beer, cocktails, and pub grub this weekend! Head over after the McKinney St. Patrick's Day Festival for a place to unwind after all the fun! The Filmore Pub Head over to Plano, TX on March 17th to enjoy delicious traditional Irish pub food and drinks! After all, nothing is better than sipping on a Guinness after a long day at work. They will also have live entertainment throughout the night so bring your dancing shoes! Irish Rover Pub and Restaurant Who knew Frisco, TX knew how to party like the Irish do? From March 14-March 17, enjoy green beer, delicious traditional Irish drinks, and pub grub! Mark your calendar, because what other time of the year can you enjoy green beer? Paddy Dash The annual Paddy Dash held in Frisco will be on Saturday, March 14th. This is a certified 5K run as well as a one mile fun run! There will also be other fun activities during and after the dash, including a bounce house, face painting, and crafts! Greenville Avenue St. Patrick's Day Parade Come see DFW's biggest St. Paddy's Day parade on Greenville Avenue this Saturday! Over 90 floats will be dancing down the street from local vendors and organizations. This is a free family friendly event. After the parade, the Josh Abbot Band will be playing at Energy Square on the corner of Greenville Ave. and University Blvd. Tickets are $15 dollars and can be purchased here.
