Trinity Falls - How to Stay Safe on the Tricycle Track at Trinity Falls

August 26, 2015

In a prime spot in McKinney, TX, Trinity Falls offers wonderful amenities like our very own tricycle track. This track has been really fun for families to participate in since it opened a short while ago. However, it's also important to remember when scooting around with your little ones some general safety tips.

Most toddlers have a lot of energy to burn and that means they're always trying to go, go, go. Before hitting the track, take your child to the store with you so they are able to test drive the tricycle before making the final purchase. By doing this, you'll be able to easily tell if the bike is a good fit for him or her to use.

As always when riding a bike of any kind, be sure you buy your child a helmet. While the tricycle track at Trinity Falls is surrounded with special track cushioning, it can still hurt if your child were to fall down. Insist that he or she wears it at all times whenever on their bike not only for protection but to also cultivate the action as a habit.

If you're going to be frequenting the track often, be sure to conduct periodic tests to ensure your child can reach the handlebars and pedals properly. If they're having a hard time due to growth spurts, it may be time to adjust the bike or purchase a new one all together.

With these simple safety tips, we know your kids will have a fantastic time on the tricycle track without you having to worry.  For more information on the tricycle track and other great amenities at Trinity Falls, be sure to visit our website.
