Sending your Christmas list to Santa is great, but getting to talk to the big guy (and capture a photo) is priceless. Santa is coming to North Texas, and we’ve got the lowdown on the best places to pay him a visit. Many places encourage you to make an appointment so you can skip the lines. See the websites for details. Check out the places Santa will be holding court: Santa on the Square Book a visit with Santa and support a great charity! Step into Santa’s workshop for photos and conversation. Your booking includes two copies of a 4 x 6 in. photo in a keepsake folder. All proceeds benefit Volunteer McKinney. Shops at Legacy Take a peek at Santa’s Village and spend time with the jolly ol’ elf himself! Before the photo session, kids can make up their Christmas wish list at a special letter writing station. The Shops at Willow Bend Kids will find more than Santa at Willow Bend. They can step into a winter wonderland in the Ice Palace featuring a 30-foot globe encircled with a series of majestic arches and smaller globes that appear to be carved from ice completed only by falling snow! Christmas in the Square Santa is a daring fellow and he will parachute into the Square at 5 p.m. for pictures and to enjoy the largest choreographed holiday lights and music show in North Texas, snow, live music and more! Cowboys Christmas at The Star in Frisco Santa is a Cowboys fan (of course!), and he will be at The Star for photos and fun. Visit him inside his custom-built Dallas Cowboys cottage. Photo packages include a printed 5×7 photo and an exclusive Cowboys gift for each child. You can also see Santa at the Cowboys Christmas Spectacular every Friday and Saturday showcasing the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, Dallas Cowboys Rhythm and Blue Dancers and Drumline, and more. American Girl Welcomes Santa Santa is coming to the store, and he can’t wait to meet you and your girl. Whispering her wishes is an exciting holiday tradition, and a special pose with St. Nick is the perfect photo opportunity! This festive event includes one 5×7 keepsake photo per girl, plus a delicious meal to enjoy during your visit.
