Harvest Green - Healthy Teachers Make Happy Students

We are proud of our Fort Bend ISD schools and our caring teachers. Now, we know one of the secrets of their success — an emphasis on employee health care and wellness offerings.

The Houston Business Journal recently named the district on its list of companies that offer outstanding wellness programs.

Companies were scored in six categories including:

• Culture and leadership commitment 
• Foundational components 
• Strategic planning 
• Communications and marketing 
• Programming and interventions 
• Reporting and analytics 

The rankings are a run up to the HBJ 2018 Healthiest Employers & Health Care Heroes Awards that will take place a May 17 breakfast and recognized in a special publication in the May 18 issue. At that time, the rankings will be revealed and finalists will be announced.  

Harvest Green students attend three Fort Bend ISD schoolsall of which are located within our “farm-tastic” community. The line-up includes Neill Elementary, Bowie Middle School and Travis High School. All of our young residents receive a great education because if our teachers are healthy our students will be happy!
