Ready. Set. Kindergarten!

Harvest Green - Ready. Set. Kindergarten!

April 26, 2018

Get ready parents, the day you have been anticipating (and partially dreading) is approaching — it’s time to register your baby for kindergarten!

Kindergarten registration for the 2018-19 school year has opened for Fort Bend ISD elementary schools. Parents of eligible kindergarten students can complete the first step from their home computer, mobile device, a public library computer or a computer that will be made available at the campus. Online registration is available through May 25 at 4 p.m.

After completing online registration, you must contact your zoned campus to set an appointment to complete the enrollment process. If you live in Harvest Green, your child will attend Neill Elementary School located within our community at 3830 Harvest Corner Drive.

Kindergarten enrollment appointments will begin the week of April 30 from 8:10 a.m. to 3:25 p.m. As a convenience to parents and guardians, evening appointments also will be available beginning Tuesday, May 1, from 5 to 7 p.m. In order to ensure adequate staffing, resources and student placement, it is imperative that you register your kindergartener during this timeframe.

To register, your child must be five years of age on or before Sept. 1. Please bring the following to your appointment:

  • Child’s birth certificate or its equivalent
  • Immunization records
  • Social Security card (if available, a state ID number will be assigned)
  • Proof of residence, including a deed, lease or mortgage agreement
  • A current utility bill (gas, water or electric)
  • A government issue photo ID of the student’s parent or guardian, which provides their FBISD address (current TX Driver’s License/ID Card)

For more information regarding kindergarten registration, contact the school office, 281-327-3760. For more information about enrollment and to begin online registration, click here

Access to outstanding Fort Bend ISD schools is just another perk of living in our “farm-tastic” community. After graduating from Neill Elementary, young residents attend Bowie Middle School and Travis High School, all conveniently located within Harvest Green.
