Trinity Falls - Johnson Development Names New Trinity Falls General Manager

May 30, 2018

Robert Ditthardt has been promoted to General Manager of Trinity Falls, replacing retiring Jim Baker.

Ditthardt has been Project Manager for the Johnson Development Corp. community, located just northwest of McKinney, since February 2017. He has helped guide continued development of new sections and amenities opening in Trinity Falls.

“It’s exciting to be part of a development like Trinity Falls that has so many components still to be introduced,” Ditthardt said.

A Senior Project Manager with Newland Real Estate Group for 11 years, Ditthardt helped in the development of Canyon Falls in Flower Mound, Northlake and Argyle. He has also worked on projects in Maryland, Virginia and Florida. Ditthardt holds a master’s in business administration from Florida Atlantic University and a bachelor’s degree in engineering from Louisiana State University.

Baker joined Trinity Falls as General Manager in January 2017. He boasts a storied tenure in land development, soliciting, negotiating and closing on more than $95 million in land deals that have a combined value of more than $850 million. Prior to joining Johnson Development, he was the founding Principal for Black Canyon Advisors, a real estate consulting firm, and President of Marlin Atlantis White, a real estate land developer. While with Marlin Atlantis White, Baker handled entitlement work for Trinity Falls.

“The opportunity to return to Trinity Falls and be part of its continued development was hard to resist, as was the chance to work with Johnson Development,” Baker said. “We’ve accomplished quite a bit since I’ve been with Trinity Falls, including the purchase of an additional 271 acres and development of new phases of B.B. Owen Park. It’s been a gratifying experience, and I look forward to watching the community’s continued success under Bob’s tutelage.”

Trinity Falls is a 2,000-acre community just west of Highway 75 and north of Highway 380. Builders Ashton Woods, Gehan Homes, Highland Homes, Meritage Homes, Perry Homes and Plantation Homes offer floor plans priced from the lower $300,000s to more than $600,000. A centerpiece of the community is B.B. Owen Park, a 350-acre natural area along the East Fork of the Trinity River.
