The Fish are Biting Oct. 20

Grand Central Park - The Fish are Biting Oct. 20

October 10, 2018

Looking for a great fishing, hiking or picnic spot? We’ve got all three here at Grand Central Park. You can experience them all during Fish, Hike & Hoot, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 20, at The Lake House, 715 Camp Strake Road.

Grab your fishing gear and cast a line from our new fishing pier on Deer Lake. It’s 12-acres and fully stocked! Teach your kids or come out and relax. We’re also opening up our miles of gorgeous trails to the public. Drink in the fall foliage as you walk our winding trails through forested splendor. Stop off by our picturesque 88-acre Grand Lake (don’t forget to take a selfie and tag us in it).

Of course, fishing and hiking build up a powerful hunger, so you’ll want to head out to our beautiful lakeview pavilions for a well-deserved lunch.

You must supply your own fishing gear. Coolers with picnic goods are permitted. Stop by The Lake House pavilion before you begin your journey to grab a map. The event is free and there is plenty of parking.

Don’t forget to stop by our 11 gorgeous model homes, either. While you check out your future home, you can register for the chance to win a guided fishing tour on nearby Lake Conroe.

Can’t make it? We will be showcasing our model homes on weekends throughout the month of October during our Hoot Home Tour. Come out to see the latest architecture, home décor and amenities 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. Sundays. Come hoot it up with us!
