Downtown McKinney Plans “Fang-tastic” Halloween Oct. 31

Trinity Falls - Downtown McKinney Plans “Fang-tastic” Halloween Oct. 31

October 24, 2018

Grab costumes and cauldrons and head to downtown McKinney for a “fang-tastic” time at Scare on the Square, Wednesday, Oct. 31, from 4-7 p.m.

This year’s event promises to be “spook-tacular” as the streets will be closed to traffic, allowing little ghosts and goblins to trick-or-treat safely throughout the shops and boutiques.

Rockin with Rhett will return to entertain kids of all ages with comedy songs, a trombone that shoots silly string, puppets and crazy antics from 4-5:30 p.m.

Got a sweet costume planned? Show it off at the annual costume contest. A $50 cash prize will be awarded to the first place winner in each category. The winner of each category will go on to compete for the grand champion title! There will be three age groups: 0-3, 4-7, and 8-12. Group costumes will have their own competition. To register, visit the registration table on Tennessee Street during the event. Twenty entries will be accepted in each age group and category on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign-ups begin at 5 p.m. and the contest begins at 5:30 p.m.

Along with gathering treats, participants can enjoy bewitching interactive activities for the entire family.

The best part for Trinity Falls residents is there is no chance of missing out on the fun because our community is located less than 10 minutes from downtown. So, if you’ve got it, haunt it and make plans for a safe, family-friendly celebration.
