Riverstone - Retirement Community Breaks Ground in Riverstone

Grand Living, a unique retirement community, broke ground in Riverstone last month and senior living has never looked more fun.

Construction of the 180 units of independent living, assisted living and memory care is slated to begin this summer. Located at 4814 LJ Parkway, the complex also will include 24-hour on-site staffing, multiple dining venues, a performance theater, the Grand Spa and Salon, an outdoor pool, a club room and a library.

Residences will range from studios to two bedrooms with a den all equipped with useful features and amenities. Pets are welcome, and Grand Living even offers a pet grooming center.

Grand Living staff will work with personal physicians to identify the services needed by residents requiring assistance with daily activities, such as bathing, getting dressed, using the restroom, walking and eating. If requested, they also help with medication management.

The facility also will offer care for seniors suffering from dementia and Alzheimer’s disease in a caring environment that incorporates the residents’ interests and abilities in a way that is stimulating, supportive and safe.
