Jump Into Bite Nite Friday July 12

Riverstone - Jump Into Bite Nite Friday July 12

June 26, 2019

We’re about to do backflips in anticipation of our next Bite Nite Friday on July 12 — literally — because Springfree Trampoline Houston is providing one of their no-spring trampolines, which are regarded as the safest in the world. It will be based outside The Club at Riverstone, 18353 University Boulevard, from 5:30-9:30 p.m. along with five food trucks.

That means kids can have fun without parents worrying.

The trampoline uses glass-reinforced plastic rods instead of steel coil springs to form a flexible soft edge resulting in the rigid frame being lowered below the jumping surface. This removes two known hazards from the jumping surface — the rigid perimeter frame and the steel coil springs. The base of the trampoline is also more rigid than conventional trampolines.

As usual, this month’s selection of rolling restaurants is top-notch and wide-ranging.

Burger lovers can sink their teeth into succulent Texas beef patties made by Balls Out Burger. Missed Taco Tuesday? Don’t worry Tilas Taco Truck  will be on site with tacos, tortas, quesadillas and their signature roasted corn on the cob. Maybe you’re in the mood for Kung Pao Chicken or tofu and vegetables. No worries. Tu-Go Kitchen is making a triumphant return. Greek geeks can swing by Anna's Gourmet Greek for that authentic Greek taste. Finally, hot Texas nights deserve cool frozen treats and TexIce Frozen Desserts has the coolest.

Don’t forget, we always have music to dine by.

The next Bite Nite Fridays are scheduled for Aug. 16, Sept. 13 and Oct. 11. Trucks are subject to change. Fidos are allowed but must be leashed. Some trucks may be cash only so stop at the ATM on the way. Hope to see you there!
