July Camps Create Young Rembrandts

Pint-sized artists can up their drawing game at July Young Rembrandt camps hosted in Harvest Green.
The camps are designed to teach art techniques and vocabulary to preschool- and elementary school-aged children. Camps will take place every Tuesday at the Farmhouse, 3400 Harvest Corner Drive, beginning July 9 and ending on July 30. Camps are $85 per camper and are open to the public.
At Preschool Drawing Camp, Children ages 3-6 will draw familiar images such as fish, teddy bears, rainbows and cowboys. In addition to teaching techniques, the classes will help children develop fine motor skills and learn to focus, listen, stay on task, have patience and about spatial organization. Class runs from 5-6:15 p.m.
Children ages 7-12 will increase their art abilities, learning skills, self-confidence and self-esteem while learning basic to advanced drawing skills, art techniques and vocabulary at Elementary Drawing camp. Classes take place from 6:30-7:45 p.m.
