Meet Dominique Lanier, Our New Lifestyle Director

Grand Central Park - Meet Dominique Lanier, Our New Lifestyle Director

January 04, 2023

With an eye toward creating memorable, meaningful events and the goal of fostering community, Dominique Lanier, our new Lifestyle Director, is a natural fit for Grand Central Park.

Born and raised in Centennial, Colorado, she grew up surrounded by natural beauty.

As our Lifestyle Director, Dominique will plan resident events and activities large and small — something past experience has prepared her for.

“My most notable event-planning experience is as a wedding planner,” said Dominque.  “I planned, produced, budgeted and designed huge luxury and ultra-luxury weddings all over the country. Most were multi-day events at some of the most popular wedding venues of the time.”

Her work was featured on many blogs and websites, including Modern Luxury Weddings.

She intends to use that experience to develop and execute memorable lifestyle events for residents.

“My focus is on creating meaningful, unforgettable experiences for all of our residents — whether it be a small business networking event or a large-scale festival,” she said. “The events I enjoy planning the most are those where people gather and connect in real life. I believe that is when incredible things can happen.”

Her plans for our residents include crafting holiday parties, game nights, movie nights, community service opportunities, educational classes and more.

“I am personally excited to be a part of Grand Central Park’s goal to offer these events in unique and fun ways,” Dominique said. “I also want to create and enhance relationships with staff, residents and businesses within our community. Whether it's joining in on one of our exercise classes, Bingo or movie nights, attending one of our special events with my own family or finding ways to embrace heroes (big and small), the community will always find me taking part in the fun.”

When Dominique isn’t planning exciting events for us, you will find her enjoying innovative and immersive experiences with her husband and daughter. They especially enjoy traveling, dining, the arts and social events. She is also studying human development and family studies at the University of Houston. Dominique holds an event management certification from Bryant University.

We’re thrilled to have Dominique as our new Lifestyle Director. If you are interested in enjoying our exciting, fun-filled lifestyle, stop by Grand Central Park and find out how you can become a resident.
