Wondering What It’s Like to Live in Woodforest?

Woodforest - Wondering What It’s Like to Live in Woodforest?

April 27, 2023

If you're considering making the move to Woodforest you might be wondering what it's like to live here. What does your house look like? Where do you shop? Where do your kids go to school? What do you do for fun? We’ve got all those answers and more right here, but if you want to experience it, be sure to visit during our WonderDays Community Tour throughout May!

Where Will You Live?

Woodforest builders offer a range of housing options to fit any lifestyle, including single-family homes, townhomes and luxury homes. If you are an active adult age 55 or older, Bonterra was created especially for you. Pine Island is an upscale neighborhood where you can build a custom home to suit your needs. Our newest neighborhood, Stewart Heights, is within walking distance to our onsite school, Stewart Elementary and Pine Market. All neighborhoods boast beautiful parks, easy access to amenities and wonderful neighbors.

What Do You Do for Fun?

A better question would be “What don’t you do for fun?” Our list of amenities is extensive with something for everyone (even your four-legged Fido). Most residents head over to Forest Island for swimming and tennis. The Palm offers 5,300 square feet of fun. Woodforest Golf Club is a private course located right here in our community. Outdoor enthusiasts love our parks and trails. Coming soon, The Vue Park at The Crest will include a third pool, open pavilion and nature trails leading to Forest Island.

Where Do You Shop?

Woodforest residents never have to leave the community for great shopping and dining. Anchored by Harvest Market, Pine Market has it all. You’ll find clothes and golf carts at our shops. Restaurants offer everything from coffee and fast casual to sports bar and fine dining. Salons, dry cleaners, gyms, dog treats and other services meet your every need. Soon the Park at Pine Market will be the go-to place for picnics, shopping, live music and yoga classes.

Where Do the Kids Go to School?

Woodforest is zoned to two school districts — Conroe ISD and Montgomery ISD. Conroe ISD is known for its excellent curriculum, numerous arts programs and outstanding athletics. Students attend Stewart Elementary, Peet Junior High and Conroe High School. Montgomery ISD is one of the premier districts in Texas with a strong academic curriculum and an approach that addresses students' social and emotional well-being. Students attend Lone Star Elementary, Oak Hills Junior High School and Lake Creek High School.
