Johnson Development Wins Multiple Houston’s Best PRISM Awards

This year’s Houston’s Best PRISM Awards presented by the Greater Houston Builders Association brought us accolades for our people and marketing efforts.

Marketing Manager Lauren Smith won Junior Marketing Professional of the Year, a title that was well-earned. Lauren has been with Johnson Development for five years, advancing from a marketing coordinator position to her current title. She currently works with our Cross Creek Ranch and Cross Creek West communities, but in 2022 — the time period for the awards — she also helped on our Edgewater and Harvest Green communities, as well as several corporate projects. She was integral in the launch of Cross Creek West last year and is a valued member of the Johnson Development team.

Harvest Green took home two trophies — one for the adorable “HAP-PEA Holidays” billboard and then the “More Room to Grow” initiative which won Market Campaign of the Year. The campaign announced the community’s highly anticipated expansion and comprised billboards, onsite signage, videos, social media ads, digital ads, print ads, e-blasts, and Realtor deliveries.

Jordan Ranch won Television/Video Promotion of the Year – Developer for “Live The Good Life.” Portraying a day in the life of a Jordan Ranch resident, the video included homes, amenities and open areas found in Jordan Ranch. People shown in the video were of varying ages, illustrating the broad home buyer market the community serves.

Newmark Homes won Event of the Year – Volume Builder, an award that wasn’t technically one of ours but was inspired by our own Realtor Relations Extraordinaire Tammy McCall. Newmark’s Celebrating With Paws event was a birthday party thrown for Tammy (featuring her pup Chance) that was attended by more than 200 Realtors.
