Ring in the holidays with sparkling lights, photos with Santa, fun runs and children’s activities — all of it near Harvest Green.

Richmond

Campfire Christmas
George Ranch Historical Park

$60 ages 13+, $45 ages 4-12, free for 3 and under

Travel back to the 1940s for a unique holiday experience. The annual Christmas celebration features a USO dinner and dance party in the Ranch House yard with a rustic buffet style meal and live music by Creole Swing. The Ranch House will be decorated for the season and cowboys will be on hand to talk about life on the ranch.

Fort Bend Museum Candlelight Tours
6-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, and 5-8 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 9

Tour the Long-Smith Cottage, one of the oldest buildings in the county, by candlelight then enjoy wassail and cookies and shopping for handmade Christmas items.

Constellation Field will be decked out for the holidays with more than 3 million lights for your enjoyment. The annual event features 10 themed areas, carnival, food, shopping, movie nights, Santa and more.

The museum will become a winter wonderland for children throughout the holiday season. Children can build their own toys, visit Santa in his workshop, craft candy ornaments, learn more about the Gingerbread Man and welcome in the New Year.
