Sienna - Top 25 Best-Selling Community Nationwide, Largest and Best-Selling in Fort Bend County. This is Sienna!

For a seventh consecutive year — and a 13^th time — Sienna has been ranked among the nation’s top-selling master-planned communities.

Builders sold 606 new homes in Sienna last year, a 73 percent increase over 2022, according to a recently released report by John Burns Research & Consulting. Through the years, more than 11,000 homes have sold in the 10,800-acre community, which is the largest master-planned community in Fort Bend County and among the largest in Texas. John Burns Research & Consulting ranks Sienna No. 22 on its list of the 50 best-selling communities in the nation.

Senior Vice President and General Manager Alvin San Miguel attributes Sienna’s continued ranking among the nation’s top-selling communities to a mix of home choices, amenities and lifestyle.

“After more than 26 years of selling new homes, Sienna continues to be a sought-after address in Greater Houston, with more than 40,000 people now making their home here,” he said. “We continue to offer a large array of builders along with amazing amenities, outdoor lifestyle activities, HOA programming options for every age group and onsite schools.”

Last year Sienna developer Johnson Development delivered 444 new homesites to builders, opening a range of new neighborhoods that expanded the types of homes available in the community. This year will see even more robust development, with more than 500 lots expected to go to builders.

“There is an obvious demand to live in Sienna,” San Miguel said. “And it’s not just in homes in our lower price points. While that sector remains strong, we are also seeing demand for more expensive homes and recently brought back custom homes to our mix of home selection.”

Development of amenities continued last year, with several new parks opening. This year will see the debut of the Sawmill Event Pavilion, which will have an event hall, outdoor gathering spaces overlooking the lake, a boardwalk along Sawmill Lake and parking for food trucks.

Other highlights of 2023 include the opening of the Fort Bend Tollway expansion over Sienna Parkway, the opening of Ferguson Elementary within the community and the debut of Crawford High School that opened near Sienna’s entrance along Highway 521. The Sienna Tennis Center also expanded to include pickleball courts. Sienna’s lifestyle team hosted nearly 100 resident events last year.

“The amenities, onsite schools, lifestyle and growing number of stores, restaurants, medical offices and other services in and around Sienna are all part of the appeal,” San Miguel said. “As the largest master-planned community in Fort Bend County and with tens of thousands of residents, Sienna really is like a small town.”

Fifteen builders offer homes priced from the $290,000s to more than $1 million in the 10,800-acre community.
