March 17, 2024

Fort Bend Town Center continues to expand, bringing more restaurants, shopping and services to the area just a few minutes from Sienna.

The 144-acre center at Highway 6 and Fort Bend Parkway is moving into its third phase, with an additional 509,000 square feet of retail space. Anchoring Phase III and already under construction is a $70 million Metro Park and Ride transit center garage. Expected to be complete during the first quarter of 2025, the garage will be able to house 1,750 vehicles.

Buses will run between the transit center and Texas Medical Center, with service possibly beginning at 5 a.m. and ending at 10 p.m. with buses arriving every 15 minutes. The transit center will also have passenger pick-up and drop-off areas as well as a covered waiting area, ticket vending machines, schedule information and restrooms.

The majority of the first two phases of Fort Bend Town Center is leased, and stores already open include Kroger, Cinemark, Burlington, Ross, Ulta, Five Below, Petco, MOD Pizza, Cava and Olive Garden.

Beauty retailer Coco Bella opened in Phase 1 in February. EoS Fitness has leased 40,000 square feet in Phase II with plans to open by the end of this year. Businesses under consideration in Phase II are Michaels, Chick-fil-A, Trill Burgers, Swig and Kelsey Seybold, according to Newquest Properties, which is developing the town center.

When complete, Fort Bend Town Center will have approximately 1 million square feet of retail space.
