New Home Builders in Cherokee County Focus on One of the Top New Lake Communities in Georgia

ATLANTA, GA--(September 25, 2007) - Home builders designing metro Atlanta, Georgia new homes are excited about the prospect of building in one of the top gated communities in Cherokee County which will be located at Lake Arrowhead.

"Many new home builders in the area invested in Lake Arrowhead years ago," said Tommy Elsberry, General Manager of Lake Arrowhead. "They are ready to see a return on their investment."

Tony Perry, a builder based in Cherokee County, bought 70 lots in the development about five years ago. According to the Atlanta Journal, Perry said he is grateful that the Johnson Corp. is taking charge. It has an excellent reputation and the kind of muscle needed to recharge development.

Johnson Development Corp., a company renowned for its huge master-planned communities, will redevelop Lake Arrowhead, an 8,200-acre neighborhood in northwest Cherokee County. Included in their plan is the integration of 870 existing homes and other privately held lots. Retail commercial development is expected to follow new home sales.
