Grand Central Park - Fall Festivities, Pumpkin Patches and More

As the smell of pumpkin spice fills the air, Grand Central Park residents are preparing for fall festivals, visits to area pumpkin patches and “spook-tacular” Halloween activities.

Here are some of their favorites:

Fall Festivities

Thrill at the Mill & Vendors Market at 7 Acre Wood - Conroe
10 a.m.-3 p.m. Sat., Oct. 26.
Free admission

Conroe’s favorite family fun park is celebrating fall in a big way with free admission and fun activities including a petting zoo, mini golf, a rope slide, playground and more. Tickets can be purchased for hayrides, pony rides, train rides, face painting, paintball, pumpkins and concessions. 

The Woodlands Children’s Museum SpookTacular – The Woodlands
10 a.m.-6 p.m. Thurs., Oct. 31
$5 for museum members $10 for non-members

Get your spook on at the museums annual SpookTacular. Enjoy spooky games, face painting, science experiments, Monster Mash Boogie Bash, Tom’s Fun Band, Splat the Cat, Professor Hughdini Magic and Spooky Songs with Gabe. 

Faith United Methodist Church Pumpkin Fest - Spring
5-7 p.m. Sun., Oct. 27
Free

Stroll through the pumpkin patch then enjoy a dance party, carnival games, a bake sale, a toddler trick-or-treat zone, trunk-or-treat for older kids, inflatables, food trucks and prizes.

Pumpkin Patches 

7 Acre Wood - Conroe
9 a.m.-5 p.m. Mon.-Sat. and noon-5 p.m. Sun. through Oct. 31
$8 adults, $17 kids, under 18 months free

Special fall pricing throughout October allows families to have even more fun. Kids receive free admission, a pony ride, a barrel express ride, hayride and a mini pumpkin (or $2 off a large pumpkin). Adults receive free admission and a hayride. 

First Christian Church Pumpkin Patch – Conroe
Noon-6 p.m.  Oct. 12-31
Free

Pick one of the pumpkins, take pictures and have fun! The pumpkin patch is open until Oct. 31 or until all of the pumpkins are gone. 

P-6 Farms – Montgomery
10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturdays, noon-6 p.m. Sundays through Nov. 9
$15.95 advance, $18.95 at the gate

Have Texas-sized fun with a corn maze, u-pick pumpkins, train rides, farm animals, a candy cannon, hillbilly pig races, carnival rides, food and more. 

Old Time Christmas Tree Farm – Spring
4-7 p.m. Fri., 10 a.m.-7 p.m. weekends through Oct. 27
$7 per person ages 2 and up

The pumpkins are back and so is the fun. Enjoy pumpkins for purchase along with eight great attractions including a bounce house, corn maze, hayrides and more. Food available for purchase. 

Faith United Methodist Church Pumpkin Patch - Spring
9:30 a.m.-dusk daily, Oct. 19-31
Free Admission

Pick a pumpkin and take a photo. All proceeds collected during the fest and patch directly support the missions and ministries of Faith UMC.

Trick-or-Treat  

City of Conroe Trick or Treat Trail
3-6 p.m. Sat., Oct. 19
Free

Costumed children can tread a trail of treats then stay for a not-so-scary Halloween movie at 7:15 p.m. 

Trunk or Treat & Fall Festival - Conroe
4-6 p.m. Sat., Oct. 26
Free

Stop by the Conroe Family YMCA for a fun-filled evening of games, face painting, food, candy and more. Everyone is invited to wear a costume.

Grace Missionary Baptist Trunk or Treat – Conroe
4:30-7:00 p.m. Thurs., Oct. 31
Free

Celebrate Halloween in a fun, safe environment with games, candy and food.
